Account data may include name, email, preferred language and user type. Learning activity, assignments, progress and technical usage records may be processed when the service is used. We aim to minimize unnecessary sensitive data.
To create and secure accounts, provide learning features, support users, maintain security, measure performance and, where consent is given, send product communications.
The first self-service release does not collect personal data from children through direct public registration. Student accounts continue to be provisioned by teachers or institutions.
We do not sell personal data. Necessary providers may process limited data for hosting, email, security, analytics or payments when those services are enabled.
Data is retained only as needed for the service and applicable obligations. Access control, password hashing, verification tokens and other technical safeguards are used.
